Since 1973, Vintage Lumber Company has carefully salvaged lumber from derelict agricultural buildings across the mid-Atlantic area and re-milled this lumber into functional random width flooring, with exceptional appeal and beauty.

Milled in a random width format, these reclaimed wood floors typically contain such grade characteristics as tight possibly star cracked and opened knots, varying color range deepened by age or exposure, some worm holes or tracks, contained cracks up to 1/8” wide, nail & spike holes and some original saw makings. All 3”-8" flooring widths are tongue and grooved, back relieved, end-matched (2'-10') and packaged into nested bundles. Wide plank flooring up to 18" is also available upon request. 

The “random” look of a properly installed and finished Vintage Lumber re-claimed wood floor is not by accident. This format not only creates a beautiful floor with a traditional flair but also helps to fully utilize a somewhat limited resource.
